The Interactive Whiteboard

So far on all my professional experiences there has been an interactive whiteboard (IWB) available in the classroom to enhance student learning. However… I have never been that knowledgeable on how to best use it or all that you can actually do on it.

Through the week 11 learning path for EDC3100, I have become more aware of what an IWB actually is, the components, collaborating one, as well tools, techniques and approaches to better use one to enhance student learning.

This link gave me some great ideas to use the IWB more creatively in the classroom! Here’s a You-tube clip missashley found on how to Calibrate a board which I found quite useful, and Amandaallen also came across  a great online course that can assist you to more effectively use the IWB.

Always Learning,

Ellen
